Exclusive: Robert Duvall, Director of star Billy Bob Thornton Star Jayne Mansfield car

Friday's Critics ' Choice Movie Awards, when he said that Duvall has committed itself to Billy Bob Thornton indie film project, Jayne Mansfield's Car EW working. "It is another Southern tale," says Duvall. "It puts the Tennessee Williams as — is that brilliant."  Duvall, Thornton says — that every script with Tom Epperson (the pair also wrote one of the 1992 20? s wrong move together) — only directly, but the star of the film.

Jayne Mansfield, of course, was the famous pale wood furniture bombshell (mother of actress Mariska Hargitay and) who was killed in a car accident at age 34, in 1967. It remains to be seen how the movie title, tying into the script of the story. "It is about the most important and WWII a guy in the family, after his wife left him and moved to England, the Englishman," says Duvall. "When the wife dies, he asks to bring back Alabama is buried, and at this stage, the mark has not seen him for 20 or 30 years. Two families — he abandoned the family and the original English family — meet, and then things get really interesting. "

The movie, which is funded independently, is due to Start production this summer.

EXCLUSIVE: Robert Downey Jr., Star Peabody and Sherman DreamWorks Animation

That is a computer-based device, which is used for talking, Nero dog Mr. Peabody and Sherman pet boy, the old Rocky & Rush ™ Show, travel time and explore the unlikely things about history's greatest figures. The project was announced only internally to the DreamWorks-staff with Robert Downey Jr. sound super smart, bespectacled canine signed.

Comics, was created in the 1950s and ' 60s, but remained popular for decades, even though they may have fallen off the radar for those younger than 30. A new animated film planned for 2014, the aim is to bring back the mainstream pop culture duo. "Certainly for Boomers, they are our childhood memories of the sweet spot of the animation, but it gets a little out there more, well, not quite as familiar," says director Rob Minkoff (Lion King).

The script has been penned by Jeffrey Ventimilia and Joshua Stern, who wrote for the Simpsons, "that 70s Show and customize the Yogi Bear the last feature-version. Minkoff not divulge what historical figures Peabody and Sherman will meet, but said, the film focuses on not only their time on the road, but also the story of their origin.

"Mr. Peabody is this genetic anomaly" Minkoff says. "He has brothers and sisters, all of them talking, not super smart dogs. He is outcast, but has to win by being so large, so many things. " Sherman, not instead of, but of course not the dimwitted wide eyed and naive. This role has not yet been received.

Minkoff, said the Studio considered filmmaking such as animation and live action, but chose instead to make it a fully animated 3D computer — and, as the case may be.
