Big easy-New Orleans Police Thriller

This was the first great Dennis Quaid movie I have seen. He was great as a Police Lieutenant in New Orleans-"the Big Easy."

Thank you for your interest in Hurricane Katrina, it now has some of the historical value of the wash away save way of life, and which also helps to explain what happened.

It is a Romance and a thriller, which focus on the theme of corruption in the police, but not the simple way around Serpico. It portrays how good policemen are meals of local business as a way of rewarding and appreciating protection.

Local Cajun-Irish son, Remy is one of the local community, and so he says, they are kept in a certain way. It is not a new or New Orleans limited. To the extent permitted by law, the police must always be enforced selectively. Sometimes it is not used, a young boy, but to give him a second chance to make a human, not just common sense thing. Sometimes it is the current social order. Sometimes it is about receiving the markets from the user who belongs to the prison.

Quaid meets Ellen Barkin, probably in his sexiest performance, which originate in the State, the district attorney Office investigating police corruption, and, of course, they fall in love in spite of their differences.

The first date is fun. He appears in his famous New Orleans restaurant Tipitina 's, where the owner refuses to Remy inspection. So he must be taken of the Quaid Ellen Barkin, "DISTRICT ATTORNEY office."

Of course, he is soon to be fooled and is less than or equal to fees, Remy which he escapes, since other police back-up for him. He is outraged, but he has brought his Cajun dance is his date. He is angry, but still captivated by the community, which he does not have his world in mind. They eventually marry.

There is no easy answers exist. Our sense of order and equal treatment to the extent permitted by law, the law on the police to monitor the same for everyone, but they are humans, not robots. Enforce the law selectively, or almost all, were in prison.

Even if the community considers them as completely damaged, contrary to community, which can lead to many problems. During Katrina, New Orleans Police reportedly joined the looters or simply fled the city. One of the Katrina refugees told, they were damaged. He had no use of the police, and it is obvious that they could help maintain law and order in the 9th District, because they were adopted.

I do not know the final answer. In many countries, the police are almost as dangerous as the criminals. In many ways, because they are wearing the BADGE, they are more dangerous. Even If they weren't around, the criminals running the show in its entirety for the benefit of their own interests without even a cursory attempt to protect the Innocent. I met once, from Hong Kong s.a.r. man who told me how his parents always told him, "If you want to be a good man, do not relate to the police."

But it reminds me of how members of the Chinese triad, Timothy Mo New England could sour Sweet, all the Government workers--even the mailman--the "official" criminals.
